Kirsten is a children’s author, story teller and children’s mindfulness expert.
She has worked with children for thirty years in school, hospitals and libraries, equipping them with the tools that help them to understand their mental health and emotional literacy through using imagination.
Based in the North East of England, Kirsten has four children and learned to use her imagination to support them as they grew, so that they could develop the practical skills they need for daily life, like being able to get dressed confidently, have new experiences confidently, and to make a positive difference to their environment in a sustainable, achievable way.
Kirsten has also supported hundreds of children and their families over the years, from birth to bereavement, as a member of The Compassionate Friends sibling support network, Kirsten regularly tells stories in her local libraries and has taken her knowledge into schools and nurseries.
